Aetna Commission Information
Who processes commission- AHCP or the carrier?
AHCP processes Aetna Medicare and Aetna Med Supplemental commissions internally. Commission statements are stored in the Comissio.
Commissions paid usually a week or two after the initial premium payment is applied. On exchange plans’ commissions are paid upon receipt of both the client and subsidy portions of the premium.
Commission Cycle
New Business Commissions (applicable to Medicare Supplement only)
Commissions are paid when a member’s premium is collected and posted by Aetna Medicare Supplement. New business commissions are processed weekly.
Earned commission cycle
Earned commission and renewals are processed once a month, the middle of the following month.
