How to get appointed with Ameritas?
Agents that would like to be appointed with Ameritas should contact the AHCP Contracting Department by phone at 877-228-8773 or by email email@example.com.
Checking Appointment Status
Log into the eAgentCenter to view the status of each of your appointments.
If your carrier ID number contains a “P3 code” it means that a complete packet was provided to the insurance carrier. AHCP is waiting on your appointment confirmation.
Adding Non-Resident Appointments
Agents should provide their non-resident license copies to AHCP with a request to add the appointment to their Ameritas record.
Ameritas will pay state appointment fees.
Appointing a Corporation
Ameritas will appoint a corporation as long as the corporation is licensed in each state the agent intends to sell insurance in. The agent should complete 2 Ameritas New Agent appointment packets, one as an individual, one as the Corp.
You can access the Ameritas PrimeStar and GemStar sales collateral, including sales kits and flyers, by visiting the producer portal.
Quoting and Submitting New Business
How do I run a quote?
Once appointed, you can access quoting and enrollment on either the Ameritas platform or through your Quotit account if you have one. To enroll clients online in Ameritas individual plans through Quotit, simply log into your account and enter your 9-digit Tax ID Number (TIN) in your Settings. Then click on the Dental radio button in your Quick Quote section and follow the prompts. For assistance, please call Quotit Customer Service at 866-478-6848 option 1.
Agents can submit applications online (https://www.securitylife.com/) through their Ameritas Life Hyperlinks. Contact Ameritas Life at (855) 728-7542 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you do not have your hyperlink.

Who processes commission- AHCP or the carrier?
Ameritas Life processes agent commissions. All commissions are paid as earned.
Earned Commission cycle
Business submitted during the month will pay the beginning of the following month. Paper statements are mailed directly to the writing agent and each person in the hierarchy.
