All agents must complete the appointment paperwork to become appointed.
How long does it take to get appointed?
It takes 3-5 business days after submitting your paperwork.
Adding Non-Resident Appointments
Agents should provide their non-resident license copies to AHCP with a request to add the appointment to their Cigna record.

To check the status of your submitted applications…
Login in to your Cigna Back Office
Scroll over “Agency Management” on the top toolbar
Select “My Clients”
Search by applicant’s information
View your book of business
To view your book of business:
- Login in to your Cigna Back Office
- Scroll over “Agency Management” on the top toolbar
- Select “My Clients”
- Click on “Active Clients”
- Search by applicant’s information
Cigna Commission Information
Who processes commission- AHCP or the carrier?
AHCP processes Cigna commissions internally. Commission statements are stored in the eAgentCenter.
Commissions are paid as earned and processed once a month in the middle of the following month.
