How to get appointed with Medico®
All agents must complete the appointment paperwork to become appointed.
How long does it take to get appointed?
It takes 10-14 business days after submitting your paperwork.
Adding Non-Resident Appointments
Agents should provide their non-resident license copies to AHCP with a request to add the appointment to their Medico® record.

How to register on the Medico® carrier’s website
- Go to: https://mic.gomedico.com/login.aspx
- Click on “Agent Registration Form”
- Complete all required fields
- Click “Submit”

How do I submit new business?
Agents can submit new business by:
- Scan and email the application to applications@premiersmi.com
- Fax the application to 800-696-8312

Medico® Commission Information
Who processes commission- AHCP or the carrier?
AHCP processes Medico® commissions internally. Commission statements are stored in the eAgentCenter.
Advance option details, including interest
3, 6 or 9-month advance. A one-time 3% admin fee will be charged on the gross advance amount. Commissions are paid when a member’s premium is collected and posted by Medico®. New business commissions are processed weekly.
Earned commission cycle
Earned commission and renewals are processed once a month, the middle of the following month.
