Processing Time
Occidental Life appointments take approx. 2-3 business days to process. Agents will be notified via email from AHCP when their appointment request has been forwarded to the carrier.
Checking Appointment Status
When all required information and completed documents have been received by AHCP, your appointment will automatically become active, and you will receive a link from AHCP Agency Services. Please note that you will not receive a writing number until after submitting your first piece of business.
Adding Non-Resident Appointments
Agents need to submit business before the appointment will be added at the state level
Adding a Corporation
Occidental Life will appoint a corporation as long as the corporation is licensed in each state the agent intends to sell insurance in. The agent should complete the Occidental Life New Agent appointment packet providing the Corporation’s Information
